London Auditions

On Wednesday 23rd I went up to London with Sam Milletti (whos the Director of Milletti Films) and helped out with the audition process for his next short which I wrote with him.

The whole day itself was very strange seeing people take different things from the words we had written and making it their own. Of course you got the ones that moved you and the ones that annoyed you because they didn't make much effort. But overall there was some really good talent and im excited to watch through the tapes tonight with Sam the director and think about the choices more.

Homeless

A University project that I just worked on recently is the city project which we had to represent a city in a certain way.

My original ideas were to photography London and show pigeons everywhere and document the way in which they take over the city. But then one night I was in Brighton for a Movie night

which a film I had written had been selected and we had to catch a very late train home. On the way home we saw lots of homeless people on the streets and you had the usual people you would expect which were the older men to drunk to really know what was going on, but then there were children. These children wouldn't call out for money they would just be curled up in a corner and not say a thing taking the cold. So this then led me on to look into homelessness in a city and represent a few photographs on children running away from home.

Elements

Since having the sketches looked at I have decided to turn the designs to look more like each element after someone said that they thought that they looked similar to that already.

So here are some more sketches that i have made that I am now unsure wether to get made or not because of cost and i may be looking into doing all with make-up.

As well as the facial designs I have been working on dress designs that I
hope to get created so that I could use them in my own fashion photography images.



Doing the designs with the faces and dresses is all new to me and a expereince that I can't wait to get my teeth into.

Sketches

Recently I have been working on sketches of designs i would like to incorporate in with my photography. I have been inspired by the film Black Swan and have started to create beauty shot designs that could be used for the same impact as Natalie Portmans stunning face on the movie posters.
